Die BarMünster befindet sich da wo früher die Casa Bar war – im Herzen des Zürcher Niederdorfes. An die alte Jazz Bar erinnert nicht mehr viel. Die BarMünster ist eine echte Cocktail Bar geworden. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, viele Details wie Kristallglas und antike Möbel und gute Hintergrundmusik.
Die Auswahl an Cocktails ist gross. Man findet so ziemlich alle Klassiker sowie auch einige neue Interpretationen. Wir hatten einen Champagner Cocktail und einen Moscow Mule. Der Barkeeper versteht sein Handwerk, die Drinks waren gut gemixt und schmeckten ausgewogen. Die Preise sind sehr Fair (16 bzw. 14 Franken). Das gibt’s in Zürich eher selten.
Der Service war sehr gut, von der Begrüssung bis zur Verabschiedung sehr herzlich und super Aufmerksam. Schade sind die Barhocker nicht wirklich bequem, wir hätten sonst die ganze Nacht bleiben können.

The BarMünster is located where the Casa Bar used to be – in the heart of Zurichs Niederdorf. Not much reminds to the old jazz bar. The BarMünster has become a real cocktail bar. The atmosphere is relaxed, many details such as crystal glass and antique furniture and good background music.
The selection of cocktails is great. One can find just about all the classics and some new interpretations. We had a Champagne Cocktail and a Moscow Mule . The bartender knows his craft, the drinks were well mixed and tasted balanced. The prices are very fair (16 or 14 francs). That ’s rare in Zurich .
The service was very good, from the beginning to the final goodbye – warmly and super attentive. Too bad the bar stools are not really comfortable, otherwise we probably would have stayed all night.
