Bei unserem Besuch in der Nietturm Bar wurden wir leider etwas enttäuscht, die Bar war zu, wir mussten in der Lounge platz nehmen. Die Aussicht über die alten Industriegebäude in Zürichs Westen war aber auch in der Lounge sehr eindrücklich. Die Atmosphäre ist kühl und puristisch. Uns gefällt dieser Stil mit viel Glas und Stahl, gepaart mit Leder und Holzelementen. Leider sind die Möbel nicht gerade bequem.
Wir hatten einen Cosmopolitan und einen Manhattan. Die Preise für Zürich moderat, CHF 16.– bzw. 15.50 ist ganz ok. Die Qualität der Cocktails ist ok. Ich hatte jedoch schon bessere Manhattans. Der Service war schnell zur Stelle und auch aufmerksam, das verabschieden klappt noch nicht ganz so gut.
Für einen Drink vor dem Theater im Schiffbau oder einen Apéro nach der Arbeit ganz passabel, längere Aufenthalte würde ich jedoch nicht empfehlen.

Unfortunally, our visit to the Nietturm Bar was a bit of a disappointment. The bar was closed, so we had to sit in the lounge. The view of the old industrial buildings in Zurich West, however, was very impressive. The atmosphere is cool and puristic. We love this style with lots of glass and steel, combined with leather and wood elements. Unfortunately, the furniture is not very comfortable.
We had a Cosmopolitan and a Manhattan. The prices are moderate for Zurich, CHF 16 .–
respectively 15:50 is quite ok . The quality of the cocktails is ok . But I ‚ve had better Manhattans. The service was quick to help and also attentive, as we left the bar, how ever, it seemed hard for them to say goodbye…
For a pre-theater drink in the „Schiffbau“ or an aperitif after work quite passable, longer stays I would not recommend .
